Route de Presles, Balcony Road D292, Vercors, France - by motorcycle and drone

The balcony road D292 connects the Bourne valley with the Coulmes plateau over a distance of about 7 km. It branches off the D531 to the north about 2 km east of Pont-en-Royans and leads over the Col des Toutes Aures (560 meters) to the plateau of Allier via Presles to the Gorges du Nan. The road is located in the department Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes / Isère and there in the massif of the Vercors. The road is easy to drive on; in the upper part near the galleries it is a bit narrow. Above on the plateau there is a good view over the Vercors.
