A walk around the beautiful town of New Mills. This place smells as good as it looks thanks to the Swizzels sweet factory! Smelt like love hearts the whole time I was there. Starting at the bottom of Union Road we cross over the River Goyt and look over to see Torrs Hydro power station. Past many small independent shops up Market Street to New Mills Town Hall, down onto High Street and finishing off inside the Market Hall. This is a lovely little town to visit. New Mills is a town in the Borough of High Peak, Derbyshire, England, 8 miles (13 km) south-east of Stockport and 13 miles (21 km) from Manchester at the confluence of the River Goyt and Sett.
