Updated Subtitles in Sanskrit, Telugu & English. This song is in praise of Goddess Renuka also known as Chinnamasta, Prachanda Chandi, Vajravairochani etc., In Vedas, she is known as Indrani, Mahadraja, Aditi etc., This song is sung by Sri Ganapati Muni in Padaiveedu Kshetram, when the British officers have sent a team of police officers on a search operation to Padaiveedu, near Vellore to find Sri.Ganapati Muni and see if it is true that he has composed 'spells' to make the British Empire collapse in India. Sri.Ganapati Muni senses the approaching trouble and prays Mother Renuka for her protection while circumambulating the shrine temple. Quite surprisingly, the book in which Nayana has composed Uma Sahasram was lying right in front of the officers but they couldn't notice it. After some questioning they leave the Kshetram, not able to find any evidence on such allegations. However, the notes is lost due to a precautionary hiding of the book in the 'Kundali' river sand and an overnight rain swept away the book. In fact, Nayana has composed some 300 verses praying Divine Mother to provide strength and courage to the Freedom fighters and to destroy the British rule in India. All these verses have been lost completely while the rest of the 700 verses were in Sri. Ganapati Muni's memory. Later he used this 300 verses deficit in Uma Sahasram to compose his experiences and kept revising Uma Sahasram for 7 times. Renuka Geetam is etched on a granite slab in Padaiveedu Sri Renukambal Temple. It is a very powerful hymn. #RenukaGeetam #GanapatiMuni #Kavyakantha #Nayana #Mahavidya #Chinnamasta #PrachandaChandi #Vajravairochani #Indrani #IndroVishvasyaRajati #PhaniMadhav
