In Hector's final battle against Issac, it turned out that Zead was actually Dracula's most dependable henchman, Death. Death was defeated, but before he was fought, he had sent Issac's body away, as a Devil Forgemaster that had succumbed to Dracula's Curse was needed to fully revive him from his defeat against Trevor Belmont 3 years prior. ---- Now, Hector was face to face against his former master and lord. He had reminded Dracula of how much his ruthlessness against the humans was enough for him to betray the Count. Alas, Dracula, having lost his first love centuries ago, saw mankind as a cesspit of hatred and lies. Dracula now wanted to kill Hector for his betrayal. ---------- Dracula can attack with a trail of purple thorns, pink fireballs, lasering the floor, or even teleporting right next to Hector to suck out his blood. He can be attacked at any angle for damage, but sometimes he'll protect himself with his cape. As his health gets lower, he may even unleash a fiery explosion. ---- Don't rest yet after draining his health, as he'll then transform into a gigantic devil! In this form, he will mainly attack with different punches, and those punches leave blood trails that can harm you. Dracula can also fly to the background to unleash more spectacular attacks, such as a giant purple rotating laser, a flurry of green homing lasers, or a massive blue explosion. You'll also have to watch out for him suddenly sending a flying punch back towards your platform. This final boss has a lot of health, but you can probably shred through it if you use one of your strongest heavy weapons, like the Battle Axe. He doesn't flinch to anything. Just keep hitting him and keep healing when needed, and you'll eventually take him down! ---------- Dracula was once again defeated, lamenting that Issac's body was not enough to give him all of the power he needed to reign in his Curse of Darkness. However, he swore to Hector that his curse will not truly vanish. With Dracula's soul vanquished, Hector realized that Issac's rage and Rosaly's death were both caused by Dracula's Curse. He unleashed his final forge upon the curse's essence, itself, and then subsequently DESTROYED it! Dracula's Castle was now falling apart, and Hector was ready for it to claim his life, as well. However, Julia stepped in to offer Hector a lifeline. To start a new life of peace, far removed from his dark past. It was now time to leave, but not before Julia had bid one last farewell to her tragic brother, Issac, realizing that his death was the only way to remove the curse from him. To reflect, Julia believed that not all humans would fall prey to the same fate. That we can depend on each other to strive for better lives. As long as there is good in the hearts of the people, there will hope for the future of the world. ---- But Saint Germain thought differently with what had transpired throughout Hector's quest. At the very least, he sees that Hector's victory stablized the timeline he was witnessing the whole time But now there was something else that was piquing his interest: The final battle between Dracula and the humans, specifically the Belmont Clan. Who knows at this point what that could comprise of...? Maybe it will be something Germain will keep to himself... ---- With his new lease on life, Hector now needed a new home to live in peace. Luckily for him, Julia had a good idea. Simply put, Julia wants Hector to stay with her at her shop. Perhaps they can start a new life... together... ---------- After the credits, you are now able to play Crazy Mode (which is a more difficult run of this game), and Trevor Mode (which lets you play as Trevor Belmont through this game, like playing as Leon in Lament of Innocence). But for now, my playthrough of this game is finished. Perhaps I will return to it some other time to take on Trevor Mode, though. Thanks for watching! I did not intend for this playthrough to take so long to finish, as it was still meant to be one of my six special October playthroughs in 2025, but I'm glad I stuck with it this whole time. Rather than a Happy Halloween, have a good Friday the 13th!
