It was a long trek to get through Dracula's new castle, and I made this even longer by "distracting" myself with optional areas and bosses. Now to see how this game wraps itself up! ---------- After climbing another large and omnious staircase, Hector finally catches up to Issac one more time. He realized for himself that regaining his lost powers was all a part of Issac's plot to revive their Lord Dracula's castle. Likewise, Issac has increased his own powers, and now wanted to make Hector pay once and for all for his betrayal! ---------- This time, Issac uses a laser sword, probably fueled by Trevor's whip skills. At times, Issac will summon his own Innocent Devils against you. These will render him invincible until you defeat each of them. First, he will summon a Bird-type Devil, then a Golem-type Devil, and then... some kind of haunted samurai armor! ---------- Issac was defeated one last time, and Hector took his sword, ready to deal the final fatal blow against him... But then... Hector stopped and remembered Julia's words. Her words about not actually killing her brother Issac, how Dracula's influence can manipulate him into a bloodlust. How Julia believed that not even Hector's dear late Rosaly would approve of this bloodlust. This lust for revenge... Hector was traumatized... He almost succumbed to Dracula's Curse... THE CURSE OF DARKNESS!!! Suddenly, Zead appeared, realizing how strong Hector was to resist the curse at the very last second. As it would turn out... This was NOT Issac's plan to revive Dracula... It was Zead's! He summoned a magic coffin and sealed Issac's body into it, as that was the last measure needed to finally revive Dracula. As Hector realized that he was tricked by Zead this whole time, he would soon afterwards find out who this man REALLY was, especially after he pulled out a menancing scythe... Zead (rhymes with "dead") was actually none other than Dracula's most loyal henchman: "DEATH!!!* He really wanted Hector's body to revive Dracula with, but upon resisting his curse, he decided that Issac had to suffice. Now, seeing Hector as useless, he wanted to kill him, himself! ---------- So then Death changes to his true form in this game, and then becomes a more stationary boss with his usual scythe swipes and sickle tosses. He can also changes the scenery of the arena and summon a smart bomb. Hmmmm... He kinda felt easier to fight compared to Final Issac. You can drain his health with slower weapons more easily, for example. ---- After Death is killed, no ceremonious cutscene of it afterwards. Hector already knows what needs to be done, left... Continue climbing this evil castle... and eventually confront his ex-master and Lord of Darkness, himself...
