Day 1 of Gyroplane Training! 🛩️🚁 Gyro training starts NOW! 🔥 Today was all about the basics—takeoffs, landings, and some key maneuvers, including: ✅ Ground reference maneuvers ✅ Vertical descent ✅ Simulated engine-out ✅ Touch-and-goes So… how did I do? Let’s find out! First impressions? While there are some similarities to flying a fixed-wing airplane, gyroplanes definitely have their own unique quirks. I’m getting used to: ✈️ A new sight picture ✈️ Lower airspeeds & altitudes ✈️ Super-tight turns! Overall—this was a blast! I’m so glad I decided to go for my gyroplane add-on rating.
