Join me on this epic adventure of challenging the elements of nature on this Solo Survival Mission, battling the African Terrain, doing my best to capture it for you guys, and doing a catch and cook with be best combination of OCEAN & CAVE!!! I will be spending a full 24 hours alone at one of Southern Africa's most iconic attractions. Surviving on what my Rod and Reel can reel in from what Mother Natures Big Blue provides for the adventure. Truly not knowing if this will turn out for the best as this remains in South Africa and crime of opportunity is real. From the GET GO, we dive into rough water conditions with currents ruining my fishing, as my mind starts to switch from 1 Star cuisine to literally just surviving the night and not having food. (Survival Mode sets in), from prepping the Cave where I will be spending the night to gathering firewood which is dry, not wet from the prior rains during the week, to blanking most of the day while trying to catch dinner, and then as soon as I remove the camera from the equation to recharge the batteries, THEN (THEN) the fish will bite. Ruining the chances of me showing you how I reeled it in. However, pleased with the mere fact of having food for the night. Soon thereafter I share with you a couple of tips with starting a fire with cotton balls and Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline), one spark and we're going, then the fight begins to keep it going with wet wood, eventually completely smoking myself out of the cave due to too much smoke. This episode was my first long form content video and is chaotic, but still remains one of my favorite trips.
