Continuing our Revelation series, Pastor Dan shows that Revelation is an unveiling meant to strengthen believers, not a puzzle for date-setting. In chapters 2–3, Jesus addresses seven real churches with a message for all churches today. Each letter follows a clear pattern—address, a portrait of Jesus (from Rev 1), commendation, correction, exhortation, promise to the overcomer, and the refrain: “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” We’re urged to read wisely (WHO/WHAT/WHERE/WHY before HOW), recognise apocalyptic symbolism and numbers (e.g., 7 = completeness), and let Scripture interpret Scripture.
