The Face Chair is a four-person fixed grip chairlift located at West Mountain in Queensbury NY. The chairlift starts at the main base area and runs about a third of the way up the mountain. This lift was built by Partek in 2018 to replace a 1976 Hall double chairlift in a new alignment, and was built as part of Apex Capital’s strategy of modernizing West Mountain. this lift is fairly useless if your not a ski racer, as it primarily serves the lower portion of the racing trail, which sometimes has a mini slalom course on it, but also serves the North Face trail (which feels way too difficult to be a green and should be regraded as a blue) .This lift is the only quad chairlift at West Mountain right now, built will change soon once The Woods Flyer high-speed quad gets built (although it may end up being built as a six-pack). Overall, this lift does its job pretty well and should be sticking around for a long time.
