Recorded on June 4, 2016. This video was recorded five months ago, after I learned the song in May 2016. Now, I have time during the thanksgiving break to edit the video, to create the thumbnail image, and to upload the video to my channel. “Ostinato” in the title is Italian for “persistent”, which represents a pattern of notes repeatedly played throughout the song. In other words, the bass clef of this composition can be learned within five minutes, because the first bar on the bass clef is repeated until the last bar comprised of an arpeggio. The blues tempo means that we should unevenly play the pairs of eighth notes (i.e., long-short). Two years ago, blue tempo was on my hate list. Now, blues tempo is no longer a challenge for me. To my big surprise, a presentable video was accomplished after the first trial. My experience confirms that increasing practice time can noticeably shorten time spent in recording.
