A new series has came out since I am running out of ideas for train terms talk show. and I have not been able to make many subdivisions of southern Illinois episodes either. I know some hotspots around the area that are dying and so I have decided to make a documentary. More episodes coming soon! Enjoy! UPDATES for Centralia Amtrak trains 391 and 392 have been abolished and 59 and 58 the City of New Orleans no longer run on the weekend BNSF Beardstown sub has recieved a new contract for the line which is more coal trains but now for "Ohio Valley" CN also has been getting a little more busy as crude oil trains and ore trains are starting to appear more I was wrong on the amount of trains the BNSF Beardstown sub gets. Instead of 3-6 they actually get around 8 a day. 5 daily coal trains, two baldwins to the CN and the industrial park. With the BNSF Centralia-Paducah locals running as well, it can go up to 9 a day Norfolk Southern coal trains 430 and 431 have been running a little more often too MORE UPDATES for Centralia The plant in Baldwin, Illinois will be closing in 2025 which means CN coal trains C744 and C745 will eventually be abolished Amtrak trains 391 and 392 now plan to return sometime in June The BNSF Joppa plant is not closing in September 2022 but is now closing in December 2023
