First flight with the 40db reducer resulted in a sheared tailwheel leafspring bolt. Thanks for the help at Seething from club members who helped make a temporary repair to get us home. John made a close examination the next day. It turned out that the bolt that had sheared was not the original and was of a smaller diameter than it should have been. He has now rectified this. Thanks for this and all the other help and support you have given me this year. I am not a qualified flying instructor nor do I ever claim to be a very good pilot. I fly for fun and basically record for my own interest and review but upload because a number of people have asked me to.
