This is a video commentary discussing the concept of easy modes and their place in games. There is a lot of arguments coming from both sides and my video takes the position that games do not need them and that it's ok if games are hard at a base level. I hope to offer an opinion with substance beyond what you typically hear come out of this debate and I hope it can provide positive discussion to the topic as a whole regarding game difficulty, intent, developer vision, community interaction, mystery, ambiguity, and accessibility. This is relatively spoiler free in regards to showing late game footage however there are multiple boss fights shown and those who are sensitive may want to listen only or come back later.
