It starts with the mind. Before the body changes, before your environment improves, before connection, love, or purpose begin to make sense — your mind has to be clear. In this video, I talk about what it really means to work on the mind, and why integration is the foundation of becoming who you were meant to be. Carl Jung spoke about individuation — the integration of the unconscious and the conscious — and how parts of us must be properly integrated in order to become whole. But integration doesn’t happen in chaos. When your neurochemistry is constantly fluctuating from substances, overstimulation, or distraction, the mind can’t stabilize long enough to find clarity. We weren’t born on substances. We were born sober. That doesn’t mean never have fun — it means understand moderation. Even the Buddha spoke about the middle path. Your environment matters too. If your external world feels unsafe or chaotic, your internal world will respond. If your internal world is chaotic, you may try to escape into the external — status, money, distraction. The two are connected. Using the seven pillars of life — body, mind, environment, connection, love, faith, and self — I explain how clearing both your internal and external world creates a gateway effect. When your mind becomes clear, you begin noticing what needs to change around you. When your environment improves, your body, relationships, and sense of meaning begin to align. Faith in a religion is still something I’m exploring, but I do have faith in my life. It’s about meaning — something Viktor Frankl described in logotherapy. Meaning is what pulls you forward. Meaning is what reveals who you truly are. This video is about eliminating internal and external toxicity so you can find clarity, integration, and ultimately your true self. I don’t have everything figured out. But anything I learn, I’ll share.
