The West Fife Way from Oakley to the Alloa end and back on my mobility scooter with my dog Olly 15-03-2025 This is a Robert A Hunter Video The video is in 4k so please make sure your Youtube settings is at it`s highest setting so you can view the video at it`s best. I started this walk from Station Road, Oakley. At least the part of the road nearer to the entrance onto The West Fife Way. The Dunfermline way is from Dunfermline to Alloa which is over 22 miles round trip. Well it says Alloa, but for me, it seems to stop well short of Alloa. On the map the route stops nearer Clackmannan than Alloa. I did the walk in two parts because I was using my mobility scooter and I had my dog Olly with me and I thought it would be too far for him to walk at the one go. The path it`s self is tarmacked, though in some places it could do with leaves etc being cleaned of the path plus when it gets nearer the Alloa end of the path the path is a bit broken up, I think due to tree roots. In this video we (Olly and myself) started this part of the walk from Oakley since it was nearer the place we turned around at the first time we tried the walk. On the last trip we turned back when we reached the Grange Burn Viaduct sort of level with the village of Blairhall. From just before the Viaduct there are paths that can lead to Valleyfield Woodland Park and Balgownie Woodland Walk. Both of which I have videos of on YouTube. On this trip we turned back at what I would say was the end of The West Fife Way. Though a path does lead down from it onto a junction of some roads. The Distance covered in this video is 7.92 miles one way or 15.84 miles round trip this is according to www.osmaps.com. The map images are from www.osmaps.com but edited by me
