Medieval Autumn Night with Tranquility and Loneliness | Water, Crackling Fire, Crickets, Owls Sounds

Take in the atmosphere of a peaceful yet somewhat lonely medieval autumn night and take a moment to rest. Even in the Middle Ages, there must have been those who experienced unrequited love, wouldn’t there? In this video, I have created an atmosphere of a peaceful autumn night, yet one that also conveys the solitude of someone who experienced unrequited love during that era. Every autumn, when the harvest season arrived, the villagers would gather to share their gratitude, exchanging grain and food in a lively festival. As time passed and night fell, everyone returned to their homes, but one person remained, unable to go home, alone under the autumn night sky, illuminated by the moon and stars. The person had known for a long time that she, the one he loved, had feelings for someone else, but now he realized that it was time to quietly support her from a distance and take the solitude needed to come to terms with his feelings. Reflecting on the memories of happiness shared with the person he loved, as well as the lonely memories built while pretending not to notice, the happiest moments were when they briefly shared their true feelings. Because of those moments, he couldn’t easily give up, and now, he is writing down an unsendable letter to express all of these thoughts. Instead of harboring resentment towards her, he blamed his own shortcomings, at times sinking into sadness and at other times becoming consumed by the loneliness of the coming winter. But as he watched the cat peacefully sleeping beside him and the water flowing by, he reminded himself that time would continue to move forward, indifferent and fair to all. So, he let the flowing water carry his sorrow away and tried to calm his heart. It was a night spent under a tree, gazing up at a sky that appeared so blurred to him that he couldn’t distinguish whether it was the moon, stars, or clouds, yet the feeling of gratitude for nature’s quiet comfort filled him. Thus, with the quiet song of one person, filled with both loneliness and gratitude, wishing for the happiness of the one they had loved, the autumn night deepened. Since my work is more about creation, my mood often gets reflected in it. When I began working on this video, I initially planned for a warm and happy autumn night scene. However, as I worked, the atmosphere gradually shifted to include not just peace, but also a subtle sense of loneliness. For those who don’t read the description, it might just seem like a peaceful medieval autumn night, offering a sense of calm. But for those who do read the description, I think they’ll catch a hint of the subtle loneliness within. I hope, in any case, this video brings a little comfort or support to anyone who watches it.
