Daily Recap February 4th 2026

It was a cold and rainy day here, and thankfully Jer slept better last night. He was exhausted for sure. Nurse T did his morning care so I could go to the chiropractor and then she changed his trach. I scheduled all of our appointments for the month and worked on a few presentations. We worked on numbers for a few and then Ms Haley came for school. If you listen carefully you will hear Jer trying to make sentences and intentional choices on his eye gaze device. He did well today with their activity and we were pleased. He let us know when he had enough though. He let me know he wanted to walk so this evening I let him exercise his lungs off the ventilator and stretch his body. His secretions were a little dry today but I gave extra fluids. He was running past me hand to steer but slowed down for some rice. That smile and those smirks were priceless. I clipped his nails before bath and we got som cuddles in. During winter we are home a lot but prayerfully we make it out the house tomorrow for his chiropractic appointment. Today we pray that you become more intentional with your choices in life. May you allow God to guide you, teach you and may your Godfidence grow as you develop and mature in His Word.
