Aloo Bhindi ki Sabzi is a popular dish in Indian cuisine, particularly in the northern and western regions of India. Potatoes were introduced to India in the 17th century by the Portuguese and became widely popular due to their adaptability to different soil types and climates. Okra, on the other hand, has been in the region for much longer, and it thrives in the warm Indian climate. The combination of potatoes and okra in a single dish is a testament to Indian culinary innovation, where locally available ingredients are combined in various ways to create flavorful and nutritious dishes. The use of spices not only enhances the flavor but also often provides health benefits, which is a significant aspect of traditional Indian cooking. This dish, like many others in Indian cuisine, reflects the regional diversity of cooking styles. Depending on the region, the preparation and spices used in Aloo Bhindi ki Sabzi can vary, making it a versatile and continually evolving part of Indian culinary traditions. #chefharpalsingh #namakshamak #easyrecipe #healthyrecipes #vegiterian #spicy #aloo #potato #potatorecipe #okra #bhindi #bhindirecipe Ingredients Quantity Lady’s fingers 250 gm Potato 4 no Coriander seeds 1 tbsp Black pepper 1 tsp Pomegranate seeds 1 tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Oil 1 ½ tbsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Ginger chopped 1 tbsp Garlic chopped 1 tsp Green chilli chopped 3-4 no Salt to taste Onion sliced 2 no Turmeric powder 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp Dry mango powder 1 tsp Garam powder 1½ tsp Fresh coriander chopped 1 tbsp Kasuri methi powder 1 tsp Chaat masala ½ tsp Ground masala 3 tsp Coriander chopped for garnish Method :- 1.
