✈️ Japan Arrival – Gacha Addiction, Godzilla & Totoro Heartbreak | 🇯🇵 3 Months Japan Journey (2023) Vlog Part 1 Our long-awaited honeymoon adventure through Japan finally begins — and it immediately goes off track. 😅 After saving since 2018 and postponing our dream trip for years due to COVID, we finally made it to Japan for our 3-month honeymoon journey. From the moment we landed at Haneda Airport and took the bus to Ikebukuro Station, Japan’s magic (and gacha machines 🌀) got us hooked. Before even reaching our Airbnb in Oizumi Gakuen, we were already deep in gacha land — from Pokémon and Hamtaro to weird noodle monsters and mini rice cookers. Even the Pikachu vending machines welcomed us to Tokyo! After settling in, we explored Shinjuku to hunt down Godzilla at the Marui Annex store. There we found the cutest Hamtaro x Godzilla collab, and yes… even more gacha. Japan, you sneaky temptress. Since it was Valentine’s Day, we celebrated with a cozy Sukiyaki dinner at Momo’s Paradise — delicious, comforting, and a perfect way to toast the start of our honeymoon. 🥩🍓 The next day took us to Shimokitazawa, Tokyo’s artsy vintage neighborhood, to visit the famous Totoro Cream Puff Café… but heartbreak struck — it was closed! 💔 Luckily, we healed our souls with matcha banana pancakes at Flippers and some exploring through Village Vanguard (a chaotic wonderland of quirky goods and endless gacha machines). We wrapped up the day in Shibuya, visiting the Nintendo Store, Pokémon Center, One Piece Store, and Pop Mart, where I let my husband choose a surprise box (so I could blame him if it wasn’t cute 😅).
