So I took the next step in evolving my Mochatini. Time to slip in a richer mouthfeel by adding a splash of a rather popular coffee cream liqueur. Baileys Irish Cream fits the role perfectly. Kicked up the chocolate hit, by using a full-blown chocolate liqueur. I used Mozart Chocolate Liqueur and then I learned they also have a coffee chocolate one as well….hmmm…may need to try that. Where the first one focuses on letting the flavors come through without being muddled by cream, this one cuts the bitterness and adds just a touch of creaminess. It’s going to be a hit with a wider audience and one that neither you nor your guests will be disappointed by. Cheers, and enjoy your Mochatinis #2 MOCHATINI #2 INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 oz Vodka 2 oz Espresso 1/2 oz Baileys 1 oz Dark Chocolate Liqueur 1/4 oz Simple Syrup GARNISH Grated dark chocolate or chocolate coated coffee bean METHOD Add all ingredients to shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour into martini glass.
