Strong biceps and triceps allow you to lift heavier; this includes your children and grandchildren, and they are also beneficial with bench and shoulder presses. Defined, muscle, tone is the objective AND it definitely can be achieved. . If you’re a beginner I highly recommend starting off with light weights: 1 or 2 lbs. You can even substitute water bottles for the weights. Slowly increase the weights as you feel yourself getting stronger. .
