We have left Seville and moved in La Muela, small village that lies on the road from Algodonales towards the takeoff. As it was another good flying day, of course I signed up for the ride up. It was possible to takeoff earlier today, it was drier and more sun so… I had no desire to wait on takeoff so I went early. Once in a while I was checking over the back towards South east but it looked more cloudy than towards west so I did not want to jump and then land at the back while the fun was still going on in the west side…. But, once I had enough, I was a bit frozen, I climbed to base (around 1200m) and made a dash to the other side. In the middle of the valley I started to have hopes as I have seen a large group of eagles climbing towards a singular cumulus on the other side. However I failed to connect properly, I found lift but I was more focused to stay close to the road than to climb… so… close to the road the landing was… Thanks to Emi for an immediate retrieve and ride back. Time for dinner soon, life is good! 2025-12-26
