After an inspiring opening ceremony, One Young World kicked off its first full day with inspiring sessions on leadership and sustainability. During the Circular Economy plenary, two of our Enterprising Futures Scholars took the big stage among three other inspiring entrepreneurs 💡 Ala'a Thalji Al Soudi from Jordan, founder of Limonene, shared her mission to make water treatment more sustainable. Joseph Nguthiru from Kenya, co-founder of HyaPak, inspired the audience with his innovative startup transforming water hyacinth into biodegradable alternatives to single-use plastics. Both are part of the Enterprising Futures Scholars programme, proudly supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside 28 other remarkable young leaders from Africa and the Middle East. 🌍✨ What an incredible way to start the summit: inspiration, impact and young entrepreneurs in action!
