Saen Saep Canal in Bangkok is 72 KM long. It runs through 21 districts and is connected to over 100 smaller canals. There is a public boat service running through the central part of Bangkok. The average fare is around 17 baht (just over 50 cents). The boats are loud and the engine belches clouds of smoke when straining to start and stop at the piers, but the boat ride is fun and convenient. This the 3rd video in my Bang Kapi series. It shows the return trip from Bang Kapi Mall back to Asoke Pier, which is a short walk from Petchaburi MRT station. The other videos in the series show my boat trip from Asoke Pier to Bang Kapi Mall and then a brief walk around the mall showing some of the fun things one can see there. ©2022 by Adam Healy.
