CONTAINS FLASHING LIGHTS!!!! A very disappointing trip home with Ryanair to say the least. Now this flight was due to be operated by a shiny new MAX 8 200 aircraft, EI-IGM, which had been delivered from Boeing only 5 months prior. But this NG showed up instead. 11 year old EI-EVM still with the old Ryanair cabin & seats. Boarding started only 10 minutes before our departure time, and our tickets were scanned and we were then all shoved into a stairwell to presumably be dipped and sheared before being shepherded onto our flight. I should say for any avgeeks out there 20A is NOT a good seat to sit in. The windows are right in front and behind you and was quite a challenge to push my phone through the gap to the window and out towards the wing. The aircraft was just as dirty as the flight earlier that morning and to make things even worse, the Captain told us through the tannoy that the aircraft hadn't been catered AT ALL and there was no duty free! Disgraceful! So much for a full service on the way out!!! Anyway we pushed back and made our taxi out to the unusually concrete Runway 28R. Apologies for the kids behind me who clearly thought they were on some sort of roller-coaster as we took off, but they did eventually realise that this was indeed actually a Ryanair flight. Some nice views of Dublin as we climbed but they were quickly behind us, and we cruised into the beautiful sunset and further towards Stansted. Check out the lightning that I saw as we were on Top of Descent and the cool lights I saw which I have no idea where they were. The cabin lights were dimmed for landing and were on the ground shortly after. Though watch out for the eager pilot who hit the breaks far to early as we were taxiing onto stand. However shoutout to the kid sat behind me who didn't speak English but didn't mind in the slightest that I was having to film out of his front window. Overall I think Ryanair are a bit cr@p, literally a flying bus to get us home, service non-existent, basically just a cheap means of getting home. Only saving grace was that we were early into Stansted.
