Here is a short chase of the UP LOG16 Carson Switcher performing industrial switching work on the Carson Industrial Lead, running much later than usual. We catch the train departing Mead Yard at Long Beach Jct, then onto the Drill track along the Alameda Corridor where it serves Marathon before switching out International Paper on the Carson Lead. This job is hard to catch unless they have work in Carson, otherwise the drill track is almost unshootable. The local departs Mead with an SD70M leading, but with the Carson Industrial Lead being restricted to four-axle power due to tight curves, the crew is forced to ditch it behind on the drill track, leaving it with only a GP60 and GP38N for power.
