Ingredients Butter or ghee – 125 g Icing sugar – 125 g Milk powder – 13 g Baking powder – 5 g All-purpose flour – 280 g Strawberry jam – as required Oil – a few drops (only if needed) Method In a mixing bowl, add butter (or ghee) and icing sugar. Beat well until light, creamy, and smooth. Add milk powder and baking powder. Mix well. Gradually add all-purpose flour and mix to form a soft dough. If the dough feels dry, add just a few drops of oil and mix again. Do not overwork the dough. Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a nozzle of your choice. Pipe cookies onto a lined baking tray, keeping equal distance between each. Add a small dot of strawberry jam in the center of each cookie. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 20–25 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool completely before serving. Tips Do not overbake; cookies should remain light in color. You can use any jam flavor of your choice. Once cooled, store in an airtight container for freshness.
