In this dramatized therapy session you meet Adam, a 15-year-old who has excelled in school and as an athlete despite having been sexually abused by a soccer coach from age 9 to 12—a secret he has never revealed. A year ago, Adam’s grades and sports performance started to slip when his young adult female tutor became sexually abusive and threatened to tell everyone he is gay if he reported her. Adam started seeing a male therapist (Dr. Bill Saltzman, PhD) ​a month ago when his pediatrician referred him after several weeks of unexplained sickness.
