A short music recital was presented to the audience during the American International School's Tedx talk last 25 May, 2013. It served not only to showcase the talents of some of the students of AIS, but also to convey to the audience that music is a collaborative learning experience among the composer, the performer, and the listener. The recital featured a collection of original pieces by music students under the tutelage of music teacher Jason Bennet from the American International School of Hong Kong. Music: 1. Mysterious Night by Ryozuikei Kato (piano) 2. Recalling Memories by Yuka Tokuyama (flute), Mabel Lam (violin) and Richie Leung (piano) 3. Legacy by Thomas Joo (vocals/beatboxing) and Jason Bennett (percussion) In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
