#allotmentlife #ukgardening #autumnharvest #gardeninguk #growyourownfood Hello everyone, and welcome back to our little channel 💚 In this episode, the first frost has finally reached our plot, and our heat-loving courgettes and squashes have sadly taken a hit. It’s time to say goodbye to summer crops and prepare the beds for the colder months ahead. We clear the beds, gather the last of our courgettes, squashes, and pumpkins, and start sowing green manure. A mix of field beans, winter vetch, and crimson clover, to enrich the soil for spring. Our onion sets are ready to be planted in the polytunnel, and we’ll soon be planting our garlic, one of our favourite winter crops. We also share our pumpkin harvest: three beautiful pumpkins we’re saving for carving (and maybe a pie or some pumpkin jam!). Plus, a very special visitor joins us at the plot. Autumn is a season of change, calm, and renewal 🍂 The plot might look quieter, but there’s still so much life. The bees are buzzing, the flowers are holding on, and the soil is preparing for rest. It’s a beautiful reminder for us all to slow down and follow nature’s rhythm. Thank you so much for watching and following our journey. Your support means the world to us 🌱 If you enjoyed this episode, please give it a thumbs up, subscribe, and leave us a comment, we love hearing from you! 🌾 Thank you for growing with us, Claudia, David & Noah #allotmentlife #ukgardening #autumnharvest #gardeninguk #growyourownfood #nodig #gardeninglife #organicgardening #selfsufficiency #sustainableliving #familygarden #autumn #greenthumb #allotmentgarden #gardeningcommunity #seasonalchange
