Cheeseburger soup 🍲 easy and delicious

Hello beautiful family and friends 🤗, today it's so freezing in the Midwest and so it's a perfect day for a warm, creamy and delicious soup. Let's get started: Ingredients: 1 pound of bacon 1 and a half pounds of ground beef/mild Italian sausage or combo 1 onion chopped 1 whole container of chicken broth 1 8 oz package of cream cheese 1 cup of heavy cream 1 TBSP of each: garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper 1 and a half cups of shredded cheese Begin by cutting the bacon into bite size pieces and cook it until it's crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside in a paper towel lined dish. Remove all but 2 TBSP of bacon grease. Add the grease and onion. Let that cook together for a couple of minutes,then add the minced garlic. Let that get fragrant, about 1 minute. Drain extra grease from the ground meat. Next, add the chicken broth and heavy cream and bring to a simmer, but not quite a boil. Once it begins to simmer, add the cream cheese. Let this go for a few minutes and let the cream cheese melt completely, stirring frequently. Once you no longer see any chunks of cream cheese, add the shredded cheese and let that melt completely stirring frequently. Once the shredded cheese is completely melted, add the ground meat and bacon back in and give it a good stir. Let this meld together another 5-10 minutes and it's done.
