KLM B787-9 in World Business Class + Premium Comfort Class preview | Trip Report

Welcome everyone to on board the KLM Boeing 787-9 on this funky 5th freedom flight from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur in World Business Class! I had to go to Kuala Lumpur, was surprised to find KLM operating this route and just had to book them! The fares are insanely affordable, even lower than many low cost carriers. And it’s a full service airline, so the choice was easy. I really wanted to try Premium Comfort Class, as I’ve never experienced that new cabin yet, but on observing me there the fun crew told me “to return and stop being silly, Business Class is more fun” (in funny and kind Dutch slang). I’m half Dutch myself, but living in Dubai, so to find a whole bunch of Dutch people on the other side of the world and just be able to feel at home was a very nice feeling. The team was just great, and for me it was a flight to remember. Besides that, the KLM product is very solid on this route, and likely even better than most competitors in the region.
