Church We Get to Love

We wrap up ABIDE 2026 (Potter’s House of Toronto’s prayer and fasting week) with the return of the Tica Family (Pastor Reuel Tica, Christine Tica and Debbie Tica) to join us in praising God and reflection of God’s word. The Tica family gives us an update of what God has done in their lives since their last visit to Potter's House of Toronto in the spring of 2024. They tell the story of how prayer and fasting recently helped their family into (re)committing their lives to/back to the Lord. Afterwards, Pastor Reuel Tica reflects on what we can and should do to overcome the challenges of the church that we get to love (whether the church is gathered or scattered at any given time). We are reminded of God’s command to love one another and we must polish this love for others. This love should be heartfelt because God’s heart beats of love. Our love for one another should unify. We are called to unite and not simply be uniform. We need to reach out to others and do something for one another. We have to commit our faith and surrender to God’s call to love. We need to remember that God’s love heals and His love will cure your deepest hurts.
