Episode 64: Confessions of a Leader Interviews on the Move, Tough Calls & Raising Standards This episode covers a full-on end to the week, packed with leadership, decisions, and momentum heading into 2026. The week started with an early morning of phone interviews for a new sales team, all while driving to a client meeting to review a business restructure including difficult conversations around removing roles to make the business more efficient and sustainable. That was followed by an interview for a new Area Manager covering the East Wales region, before heading back to work late into the night on new and exciting projects, preparing for an upcoming meeting with our US-based company. Thursday brought another early start with two BNI meetings one as a guest at 6:30am, followed by my home chapter, both delivering incredible energy, conversations, and connections. Later that day, I met with a client about getting off the tools and discussed the Entrepreneur Mastermind, followed by a meeting with an FM company CEO. The day ended the right way food with the family, because some things money can’t buy. Friday was all about standards. I delivered FM management training, setting clear expectations and reinforcing what “good” really looks like before heading out on a client visit.
