Yoga Nidra for Insomnia and Deep Sleep. If your mind feels busy at night, if your body is tired but wired, or if sleep feels light and broken, this Yoga Nidra for deep sleep and insomnia is for you. This guided sleep meditation is designed to gently guide your nervous system out of stress and into rest, using the steady rhythm of a night-time storm to create a sense of safety and containment. You don’t need to try to sleep. Simply lie down, get comfortable, and listen. As the storm unfolds in the background, you’ll be guided through a slow body scan, breath-led relaxation, and gentle subconscious cues that support falling asleep more easily and staying asleep for longer. This practice works by helping the body shift out of survival mode and into a state where sleep can happen naturally, without force or effort. This Yoga Nidra is best listened to lying down in bed, with the volume set low or through headphones. You may fall asleep before the practice ends, and that is completely intentional. Returning to this practice regularly can help your body relearn how to rest deeply and consistently, even if sleep has felt difficult in the past.
