Snack attack Sunday!! DELICIOUS SWEET WARM! Fast cheap movie snack! Recipe ~ We encourage you to use organic produce/ingredients whenever possible. Mouthwatering y'all... • ONE Pot ~ Creamy Mushroom Stroganoff | Veg... Ingredients 2-3 tbs oil to cook popcorn! Be sure the kernels are lightly coated, not soaked! :) See video. I use coconut oil. 1/3 cup popcorn kernels to pop (or 2 microwave bags) 1/2 cup brown sugar, pack it in tight! 1/3 cup vegan butter 2 tbs of coconut nectar or agave nectar 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp cream of tarter (this helps the caramel be smooth & not have large crystals) 1/4 tsp salt Directions Line a large pan/baking sheet (any pan is fine, as long as you can spread the popcorn out) w/ parchment paper. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Prepare your popcorn as you wish. Either stove top, microwave, etc. The spread popcorn out in your pan. Don't put any un-popped seeds. In a pan mix together vegan butter, brown sugar, salt, agave/coconut nectar, & cream of tarter. Heat on medium stirring until you get a foam like mixture. Cook for ONE minute after it becomes foam like. Do not over cook! It won't set properly :) Remove from heat & immediately stir in baking soda. It should be foamy & a bit lighter in color. IMMEDIATELY POUR ENTIRE MIXTURE OVER YOUR POPCORN. Stir it up, I carefully use 2 spoons and my hands. (It will be hot! So if you have sensitive hands don't use your hands) It's ok if it doesn't spread even at this point, you will be mixing it more in the over. Put it in the over for about one hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes. After 1 hour let it cool :) Smile, and enjoy the nutrients you're giving your body!
