If you would like to be on the grid at SRi, why not head to our official Discord?   / discord   Today marks the eighth round of the UKSimRacing (UKSR) GT3 League Season 17 as hosted on iRacing and brought to you by SimRacing International (SRi). We shall be bringing you all of the racing action which occurred on Sunday 1st March as if it were live! In this round our drivers return to the European continent for the highly technical Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. Located in the foothills of the Eifel mountains in Germany, whilst this 3.19 mile circuit may not be as expansive as the neighbouring Nordschleife, the challenge it presents should not be underestimated. With its 16 corners alternating between hairpins; sweepers; and chicanes, knowing how to approach every corner consistently shall be key as will making the most of its variable straights to set up overtaking opportunities! In the ELITE class, a hotly contested conclusion to proceedings at Bathurst saw Andrea Miatto take his third win of the season. Now 46 points ahead of the closely matched pack, every point earned from this point forward shall be a gruelling test of ability for our leader! In the PRO class, whilst Kyle Roy may have been one step behind Nathan Anstice on the podium last round, his lead continues to hold at 42 points. Yet, both will be wary of Shawn Conner whose first win of the season in Australia has moved him within reach of the top two! In the INTER class, a lights to flag victory for Andrei Muntean last week has increased his lead to 62 points over Robin Paunia. Conversely, in finishing behind Craig Hewlett on the podium in Australia, could Paunia find himself drawn further into a battle for second today? How will our drivers fare with mixed conditions expected in Nürburg? Tune in and find out!
