We shall be bringing you all of the racing action live from circuit-side! After nine weeks of highly competitive racing, we have arrived at our final destination: the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Referred to as the “Imola Circuit” in reference to the local town, this 3.05 mile circuit’s hard-hitting combination of straights; chicanes; and hairpins shall require our drivers to adjust to a stop-start style of racing where every sprint to the next corner sequence could prove decisive in whether a position is made or lost. Without a doubt, a quick qualifying lap partnered to a smart strategy could prove invaluable here! In the ELITE class, despite missing out on his fourth win at Misano following a post-race stewarding verdict, the title is now Andrea Miatto’s to lose with an 80 point lead over William Arnesen. Meanwhile the fight for third between Rhys Saunders and Henrik Riise Strand is still wide open! In the PRO class, where his rivals struggled last round, Kyle Roy did not with his second place moving him 88 points clear of Shawn Conner. Attention shall likely turn to the fight for second today, and with only two points separating Conner and Anstice it is too close to call! In the INTER class, a seventh podium of the season has just kept Andrei Muntean in the lead by eight points over last week’s winner Robin Paunia. It is between the pair for the title, but with both so well-matched this season, could one of their rivals prove kingmaker? Who shall be crowned our champions in Italy? Tune in and find out!
