All of the clips in the video were filmed on Saturday August 29th, 2020. This video summarizes the first day of my solo canoeing adventure on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Strava for Day 1: / strava In this episode, I was dropped off at the mouth of the Trent Canal into Lake Simcoe (just north of Beaverton) and paddled the canoe north-east to the Kirkfield Liftlock. I took the canoe through 6 locks: Gamebridge - Lock 41, Thorah - Lock 40, Portage - Lock 39, Talbot - Lock 38, Bolsover - Lock 37, and Kirkfield - Lock 36. I paddled through the Talbot River and Canal Lake. I camped just beyond the Kirkfield Lock Station and in the evening I walked to the nearby community of Kirkfield for dinner. Background about this trip: • Solo Canoeing the Trent-Severn Waterway - ... Campsite Overnight Oats: • Campsite Overnight Oats - Just Add Water!
