Tjungu Village SA for Oz Minerals by ESMACC 25.05.18

The 550 Person Village for Oz Minerals under construction by ESAMCC Pty Ltd north of Port Augusta in South Australia. The Camp is currently housing the staff constructing the mine and is expected to be in operation for 20 years. ESMACC constructed the Village using re-purposed buildings from 2 of the Camps built on Curtis Island during the LNG Construction phase. All buildings were relocated from Gladstone in Qld, reassembled and refurbished on site. The curve in the Accommodation Buildings layout softens the impact of the camp. The alignment of the Buildings allows for the occupants to see through the camp buildings and pick up the stunning backdrop of semi-arid South Australia in the background. The Village is soon to be completed, we will post some footage of the completed Village in October.
