The 2003 ITV1 "Celebrity" idents but the celebrities took a break due to ITV's major changes in 2004

To celebrate the first day of Christmas, this video explains how the iconic celebrity idents were axed by ITV in September 2004, due to Bruce Dunlop's statement and the then-new rebrand of the channel (as well as the launch of ITV3) on 1st November of that same year, especially few of the celebrities (Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly, Siân Lloyd, Simon Cowell and Trevor McDonald) in off-screen were trying to take a break as three of the sets (abstract blocks, catwalk and neon tubes) have been cleaned up and turned off, in a similar vein to Auntie's analogue television shutdown in Northern Ireland.
