Review - Applied Acoustic Systems Chromaphone 2

Check out Eli Krantzberg's review of Chromaphone 2 which is a software instrument based on the modelling of acoustic resonators to create drums, percussion, string and hybrid synth-like instruments. Membranes, bars, marimbas, plates, strings, and tubes form pairs that are excited by a mallet and a flexible noise source. Eli has been using Chromaphone 2 for over a year now and loves it for a few reasons. First, it’s really intuitive to edit the presets and come up with really interesting creative variations. Secondly and more importantly, it stretches his imagination by making it so easy to come up with unusual combinations of resonators and impact generators.
