World record for the All Bosses RTA (Real Time Attack) category (NoSlots, NoWarps, i.e. you don't use Cait Sith's Limit Break Game Over or use warp glitches), played on the English Steam PC Version, using real time. This is a 15-minute improvement to my old run. There is still some time to save though and I intend to run this quite a bit more. It is probably my favorite FF7 speedrun as of right now, since it is much less RNG-heavy than FF7 100% but still has most of the more interesting elements of 100%, like the Weapon battles. The definition of this category should be fairly self-explanatory: You defeat all bosses in FF7 and then beat the game. What is a boss? For FF7, the single most accurate characteristic of a boss is its non-repeatability. Most bosses are also recognized by the boss battle theme that is played during the fight against them and almost all boss battles cannot be escaped from. One can fight it indefinitely many times, it does not have the boss battle theme and one can run away from the battle. Scotch, an enemy one can fight in Don Corneo's mansion, is not a boss either. Even though one can only fight Scotch once and one cannot run away from the battle, the lack of the boss battle theme and his general weakness and insignificance to the plot make him just a one-time enemy, not a boss.
