VN24 - 24-04-2023 (D/M/Y) - Selm / Germany - A tanker truck not fully loaded with several tons of fuel oil had come on a country road on the side verge, sunk there and tipped into a ditch next to the roadway completely on its side. A non-resident towing service was ordered, which arrived with two recovery vehicles. Unfortunately, he sank one of them himself in the ditch while maneuvering nearby, so it was no longer available (see video above). With its large white Recovery Truck was now tried to recover the tanker on its own. After the tanker was already almost back on its wheels, the construct obviously got overweight, the tanker tipped back into the ditch and pulled the tow truck with it, which came to a considerable inclined position and threatened to overturn as well. Our film begins when the Kollmer company, which was then called to help, has already reached the scene of the accident with its recovery vehicles and has lifted the tanker from one side and already secured it. With the help of a tractor as an abutment and a pulley, the tanker could be secured so that the white tow truck could be detached and driven away. The second recovery vehicle from the Kollmer company followed, and together they pulled the tanker back onto the road within a minute without causing any damage. The tanker was then able to reach the company premises, which were only a few hundred meters away, under its own power. No one was injured.
