Our second time visiting the county and this time we decided to stay in Picton. On the drive in we checked out Old Salts which is a fantastic place to visit for cocktail lovers as it has a great vibe and drinks for you to spend the afternoon. Closson Chase Vineyards was also down the road so we visited their bottle shop and soaked in some amazing views. Afterwards we checked in at the newly opened The Royal Hotel, a One Michelin Key hotel and was able to take advantage of their guest only pool for us to relax the rest of the afternoon. We also ate dinner at the hotel which was tasty! The second day we walked around Picton and visited local businesses such as Beacon Bike + Brew which is a dope little place with an amazing breakfast sandwich. We also stumbled upon this small shop called Keep and I was excited to find that they carried Topo Designs and was able to buy a hip pack that I've been searching for! We then headed to Parsons brewery for lunch but the weather that afternoon was windy and cold but we made the best of it. For dinner we ate at Bocado which is an AMAZING Spanish restaurant across the street from The Royal Hotel. Overall it was a great second trip back in Prince Edward County considering last time we went, it was during lockdown!
