This Doppelmayr Spacejet high-speed quad was installed in 1994 to replace a Doppelmayr triple, which was subsequently relocated to Porte du Soleil. This is the main out-of-base chairlift on the South Side, and is the lower of two chairlifts that get you to the summit. This is also one of the first Doppelmayr detachables to use the DT-104 grips. At Tower 6 is a half-midstation used only in the summer for the luge track. The lift can hold up to 101 chairs for full capacity, but 93 chairs were on the line in this video. There are 17 towers, plus one extra tower for the summer midstation. Estimated speed is 753 fpm. Recorded Jan. 1, 2025.
