Microphones were set in the wide (A-B) position. SHOW NOTES: Geordie Greep's North American band improves with every passing show and I almost consider this the beginning of a final ascending drive to the end of the tour. The jamming is more colorful, the chemistry continues to tighten, the humor is turned up, the emotional range they convey is wide. They did some extra stuff in St. Louis, as they always do. Perhaps the most notable element of this show comes during "The Magician", during which Cameron Campbell plays the entirety of "Yesterday" by The Beatles in his extended piano solo spot. Geordie Greep also has an extended monologue about Jameson whisky during this sequence, and the band passed a bottle of the spirit around on stage which created an air of emotional, somehow somber, silent introspection. Marvel at how this show ends on such a quiet note after testing the eardrums of the audience throughout the night. Other novel moments: fun banter about the Canelo-Crawford boxing match, a couple of bonus jams before "Mighty Mouse" and "Holy, Holy," a brooding intro to "Through a War," a seamless (and loud) transition from "Parabola/Motorbike" to "Bongo Season." #music #bootleg #taperssection #livemusic #missouri #stl #saintlouis #stlouis #delmarhall #theloop #blackmidi #bmbmbm #cameroncampbell #davestrawn #santiagomoyano #edenmarsh #charlieschefft #concert #audio #video #fullrecording #fullconcertfilm #thenewsound #jazzfusion #avantgarde #mathrock #rock #fullconcert #salsa #williecolón
