This was a second flight in the TBM 940 acting as an introduction and dual training flight. It was conducted between Oshawa Ontario, and Winnipeg Manitoba. The TBM has a jet engine that runs a propeller, otherwise known as a Turbo-Prop. This video is aimed at the pilots and aviation geeks. There's a strong focus on VNAV and Inertia Separators. Pilot in Command was Ed Pasquale. Ed Pasquale is a highly respected professional pilot and Transport Canada pilot examiner with more than 20,000 hours in the air. His career spans decades of flying, instructing, evaluating, and mentoring pilots across Canada. If it has wings, Ed has likely flown it, taught in it, or signed someone off in it. Ed brings a calm, methodical presence to the cockpit — the kind of pilot who reviews the checklist even though he could recite it backward in his sleep. His experience anchors the series, offering viewers the perspective of a true aviation veteran who has seen nearly everything and still loves the craft. "Right Seat" and copilot was David Brewster David Brewster is a Canadian commercial pilot with over 1,000 hours of flight time and a background flying charter in the Piper Navajo. His time in commercial operations taught him how to juggle weather, passengers, schedules, and the occasional surprise maintenance issue — sometimes all in the same day. Now flying GA for adventure, David brings professional skill mixed with a healthy appetite for long cross country challenges. He’s the architect of the various video series here, the keeper of the flight plans, and the one who always says, “This will make great footage,” right before something interesting happens.
