Acrylic Pouring Painting Comb Worked Open Cup Pour Hello Friends ! I've been watching my lovely friend Gail Burstyn and this amazing open cup pour she did with Turquoise and Gold.. Gorgeous!! Today we are doing an Open Cup pour. My Colors are: Colors Golden's Heavy Body Jenkins Green Turquoise Phthalo Copper Iridescent (Fine) DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics Emerald Green Artist's Loft Naples Yellow with DecoArt Satin Enamels Warm White DecoArt Metallics 24K Gold Arteza Aztec Gold Winsor & Newton Ultramarine Blue with Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic Black Pouring Medium Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol Golden's GAC800 I'm using Jenkins Green as my basecoat for this pour. I love the way the Gold and Copper Metallics look against that dark green.. especially with the Turquoise! HoA suggested doing some comb work on this one, I love the first combed area, I'm not so crazy about the 2nd one. I tilt to cover the corners and adjust the composition.. then I'm done. I'm very happy with how this pour turned out! There are lots of beautiful cells in this piece, and good movement. I LOVE how dark the Jenkins Green dried, so deep and luscious!!
