From there, the walk descends the naturally rich mountain path, passing through mountains such as Mount Kiyomizu-yama. Along the way, the path goes through forested areas, including the Kōdaiji Mountain National Forest, where glimpses of the Kyoto cityscape can be seen through the trees. This route is characterized by the peaceful nature of the walk, with relatively few pedestrians. The route concludes by connecting directly to the main entrance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage site.
